The suspected man who killed a Taiwan resident, Yeh Tz-Jia, last Saturday was captured in Lianyungang City, east China, early Monday morning. The suspect, Sun Dongbo, broke into a house at Guangzhong Road in Shanghai Saturday evening and stabbed Yeh to death. Investigations showed Sun, 35, serves as a dentist at Kangxun Clinic in Shanghai. He stabbed the Taiwan man, boy-friend of his former fiancee surnamed Wu, at many places of his body at Wu's residence before running away. The victim died of massive hemorrhage. Wu reported to the police after Sun escaped. Upon receiving the report, Shanghai police made a careful investigation and seized the suspect in Lianyungang, a port city in Jiangsu Province, at 01:50 this morning. Sun fell in love with Wu in September 2002. However, Wu showed a cold shoulder to Sun a year later after she got to know the Taiwan man on Internet. The Taiwan man came to Shanghai to spend the Valentine's Day this year with Wu. The Shanghai municipal government attached great importance to the case.
