The cooperation of China and the US on clean energy will set a good example for other countries in the world, said David Bohigian, US commerce assistant secretary.

The continuing rapid growth of the Chinese economy presents unparalleled opportunities and challenges, said Bohigian. "US clean-energy companies can help China meet its enormous energy demands while deploying technology that benefits the environment."

The assistant secretary yesterday led 17 US companies to china, which have clean energy technology goods and services.
