European airlines again target of threats
( 2004-01-31 08:56) (Agencies)

New intelligence indicates that British Airways and Air France flights to the United States could be terrorist targets, U.S. officials said Friday.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, stressed there are no specific details and no plans to cancel or delaay flights.

A senior law enforcement official said the intelligence is similar to that regarding the two airlines during the Code Orange threat alert over the holidays.
