Old-style tutorial school closed

As the ``sishu'', an old-style tutorial school in Pingjiang County of Central
China's Hunan Province closed its doors for last time on New Year's Eve, it was
the end of era, Changsha Evening News reports.
Zhu Zhigong, who was the tutor of Wufeng Old-style Tutorial School for almost
42 years, declared it closed after the last class.
Different from modern schools, ``sishu'' is a traditional private school with
a scholarly tutor teaching students in a private schoolhouse. It has a history
of more than 2,000 years in China.
