A postgraduate student who lost her cellphone has written a public letter to the thief, hoping to prick his conscience and get back her treasured possession, reports Tianfu Morning Post.

"I would like to impart my knowledge to you, and you may earn clean money," reads part of the letter.

Zhao, a student of Sichuan University in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province, lost her phone in a fruit stall.
