An apparently retarded man in search of food on Badaling Expressway on the outskirts of Beijing caused a chain collision, Beijing Times reports.

The accident led to two people being injured and three cars severely damaged. The injured, including the vagrant, were taken to the nearby Emergency Centre.

The man, around 40 years, seemed to have mental problems; and said he was hungry and going to buy food, said a doctor.
