Milan set up Italian Cup clash with Roma ( 2003-12-19 10:10) (Agencies) AC Milan set up an intriguing Italian Cup quarter-final clash with AS Roma, after completing a 2-0 aggregate win over last 16 opponents Sampdoria on Thursday. The two teams currently top Serie A and met in the final of last season's Italian Cup, which Milan won 6-3. Milan, who beat Sampdoria in the first leg of their fixture 1-0, broke the deadlock in the 13th minute when Filippo Inzaghi scuffed a Kakhaber Kaladze cross across the line. Sampdoria pressed forward in the second half, but repeatedly ran into a wall of red and black shirts, coming closest to scoring a minute from the end when reserve keeper Valerio Fiori palmed Corrado Colombo's header round the post. Milan were joined in the last eight by Juventus, who beat Siena 2-1 earlier in the day to complete a 4-2 win on aggregate. Juve took the lead just before halftime at the Stadio delle Alpi when Alessandro Del Piero beat the offside trap and slid the ball under keeper Marco Fortin. Italian international midfielder Mauro Camoranesi fired in Juventus's second goal from the edge of the area in the 52nd minute. Igor Tudor then handled which allowed Siena striker Nicola Ventola to pull one back from the penalty spot, but the visitors never looked capable of closing the deficit. In the last eight Juventus will face Perugia, who eliminated Chievo Verona on Tuesday. Elsewhere, Udinese followed up their 1-0 first leg win over Bologna with a 3-0 second leg victory thanks to goals by striker Carsten Jancker and defender Alessandro Pierini, and a Marek Jankulovski penalty.
