A leakage of hazardous chemical material in an electric circuit factory in Shanghai's Zhabei District badly poisoned 27 workers, the Youth Daily reports.

The 27 workers were sent to hospital immediately and were all out of life danger after intensive medical care.

But four of them were still under inspection for further treatment.

A police investigation showed misconduct in the operation contributed to the accident.
