Kidman invites Cruise to spend Christmas together

Nicole Kidman has invited her supportive ex-husband Tom Cruise to spend Christmas with her on a tropical island ¡ª and she even wants his girlfriend Penelope Cruz to join in the festive fun.

The sensational gesture comes less than three years since the pair¡¯s traumatic divorce, but the Oscar-winning actress ¡ª whose relationship with rocker Lenny Kravitz has been publicly approved by Cruise ¡ª is keen for her children Isabella and Connor to spend Christmas Day with their Minority Report star dad.

And pals claim Cruise and Kidman ¡ª who has hired the plush Wakaya Club in Fiji over the festive period ¡ª have formed a close bond since the collapse of their marriage, but warn they¡¯ll never be an item again.

One tells Britain¡¯s The Sun tabloid, ¡°Now that almost three years have passed since their split, the dust has settled. What has remained is a real bond that goes beyond just being friendly for the sake of the kids.

"Tom and Nicole will never get back together but they both want each other to be happy and to be involved in raising their children. Nicole has asked Penelope and she¡¯s also asked Lenny and his own children to come to Fiji."
