Beijing Chengjian and Shanghai SVA defeated their semi-final opponents in Yiwu,estern China on Friday to qualify for the final of China's national women's soccer championships.

Beijing trounced Xuzhou Teachers' University 5-0 while Shanghai managed to fend off fierce offensives by Dalian Shide to win by a sole goal.

The championship final is set for Sunday evening.

Friday also witnessed six play-off matches. Tianjin edged Chinese Army 1-0 to make the last six for the first time, Sichuan beat Guangdong 5-4 on penalty shots to face Tianjin for the fifth place. In other actions, Jiangsu defeated Henan 2-1, Shandong downed Wuhan Jianghan University 2-0, Sha'anxi ousted Anhui 2-0 and Little Swans passed over Hebei 5-4 on penalty shots.
