Special teams organized to campaign against domestic violence have been set up in some residential communities in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu Province, reports Xinhua Daily.

Each team is composed of members of the residential committee, local police officers and volunteers.

A domestic violence hotline has also been established, and volunteers may offer victims legal advice and psychological counselling services.
