High-tech key identifies owner's face

A "face key", a high-tech instrument able to distinguish between human faces,
has been developed by a Beijing-based high-tech company, reports Beijing Evening
News.
A small camera is installed beside the lock of a home owner's front door. If
the owner puts his or her face in front of the camera for a second, the door
will open.
The face key has been approved for sale on the commercial market.
However, since a face key costs more than 10,000 yuan (US$1,200), the average
consumer is unlikely to buy one.
