Gerhard Schroeder, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, arrived in Beijing Monday morning for a four-day official visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

During his stay in China, Schroeder will exchange views with Chinese leaders on bilateral relations and issues of common concern.

Besides Beijing, Schroeder will also visit Guangzhou and Chengdu.
