Drug trafficker boasts role in trade

In the midst of his arrest, a drug trafficker told police that if he was
imprisoned, the prices of illegal drugs in Beijing would rise sharply, reports
Beijing Star Daily.
Beijing police found 1,250 grams of various drugs and 1,000 ecstasy tablets
in Li Hu's BMW on Monday evening.
As police arrested him, Li said he was a key figure in Beijing's drug trade,
and half of the city's drug addicts would not be able to get their fixes without
him.
He later admitted to transporting more than 10 kilograms of drugs to the
capital from Guangzhou since last year and selling them for millions of
yuan.
