Cao Bo, a researcher from the Shanghai Caohui District Central Hospital, displays a new method for diagnosing AIDS virus, developed by Chinese researchers in Shanghai November 24, 2003. The technique, called the CD4 Immunocyte Test, cuts costs of diagnosing AIDS virus from 150 yuan (US$18) to eight yuan (US$1). [newsphoto.com.cn]
