A survey conducted by the Beijing Education Research Institute reveals that primary and middle-school students in Beijing like their Chinese language and physical education courses most of all, reports Beijing Evening News.

Students said they enjoyed the Chinese language and PE classes because of the interesting teaching materials, dynamic instructors and their own interests in the subjects.

The survey also noted that students did not like English, as they found the materials out-dated and the teaching methods impractical.
