Software giant Microsoft has launched it's new Office System in simplified Chinese edition. A grand launching ceremony was held in Beijing Thursday. And a national roadshow will be held from now on until mid-December.

The new office system, launched worldwide late last month, is the most significant version of Microsoft Office ever to be released. It has evolved from a suite of personal productivity products to a more comprehensive and integrated system.

The recommended retail price for the Chinese edition is a little more than 3,000 yuan, or 350 US dollars.
