'Air taxi' charges 5,000 yuan per hour ( 2003-11-11 17:24) (China Daily)
An "air taxi" will start operating later this month in this northeastern
province, reports Shenyang Evening News.
The "Triumph" air taxi can accommodate up to eight passengers, according to
Southern Airlines' North Company, owners of the plane.
Well-to-do businessmen and other high-flyers unwilling to be bound by
commercial flight schedules may hire the air taxi to suit their particular
travel needs.
Such flexibility comes at a price, of course - a minimum of 5,000 yuan
(US$605) per hour per person to be exact, according to the
report.
