Chinese and Japanese personnel on Saturday began an operation to seal up
Japanese chemical weapons left after World War II in Qiqihar City, in
northernmost Heilongjiang Province.
The operation was expected to take more than 20 days.

mustard gas were dug up and began leaking at a construction site in Qiqihar in
early August.
