leaders from Industry and Commerce
Chinese and foreign dignitaries, renowned economists and leaders from
industry and commerce will explore together with all the participants the
solutions to important strategic issues cropped up from the current world
economic development concerning corporate governance, dumping, tariff, open
markets (including WTO, trademark infringement, law and global trade) and great
challenges and opportunities the enterprises will face in their future
development and measures they will take for the above purposes.
2. Forum: World Economic Development and
Enterprise Credibility
Credibility is the lifeline of enterprises development. Increasing growth of
the failure cases because of the shortage of creditability by some of
enterprises have led to great influence on the confidence of investors and the
world economic growth. Therefore, Chinese and foreign dignitaries, economists,
leaders from industry and commerce, persons of authority from financial circles,
the ministers from the Ministry of Construction, the State Administration of
Industry and Commerce, the China Banking Regulatory Commission, the China
Securities Regulatory Commission, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission will
make important speeches and conduct dialogues with all participants. Enterprise
Credibility Statements will be issued by the representatives from Chinese and
foreign enterprises on behalf of their own enterprises before the Conference and
the formation of the Credibility Alliance of Chinese and Foreign Enterprises
based on wide opinions sought from industrial, commercial and enterprises
circles will be announced so as to maintain market order and safeguard their
legitimate rights.
3. Forum: World Economic Development and
China
Chinese and foreign dignitaries, officials in charge of the economic
departments of Hong Kong and Macao of Special Administrative Regions and leaders
of the relevant international organizations, Nobel Prize Winners, and presidents
of the multinational corporations will make face-to-face dialogues with all the
representatives in a diversified way utilizing the speeches and dialogues. At
the same time, 8 Chinese ministers will also elaborate the experience and
lessons China has learned in resolving its own development problems as the
world's largest-developing country in the fields of development of its strategic
plan, education and training of personnel, technological transfer, commerce and
trade, monetary policy, agricultural development, the reform of state-owned
enterprises, informationalization construction and environment protection. They
will also discuss the questions of Chinese development strategy, principles and
policies for the decade, how China will overcome the difficulties and the points
of uncertainty and how the Chinese government will promote the sustainable
development of the Chinese and global economies jointly with global industrial
and commercial circles and international organizations within the context of the
economic globalization. Arrangements will be made for exchanges in the three
above-mentioned forums.
