Robbery-murder suspect pair confess

Two suspects wanted for a robbery and murder committed earlier this month
were escorted back to Shanghai from Shandong Province on Wednesday evening,
Shanghai Evening Post reports.
Hu Guofeng, 22, and Liu, a woman in her late teens, robbed another young
woman around 1:00 am on a street in the Huangpu District on October 18.
Two security guards nearby heard the victim's cries and chased after Hu and
Liu. Hu killed one of the guards, 48-year-old Chen Dexi, with his knife and
injured the other, Gu Jun. Shanghai police finally nabbed the pair on October 27
in their hometown of Jining City in East China's Shandong Province.
Hu and Liu have since confessed.
