Traffic cops in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, have launched a campaign to instruct women drivers not to place ornaments or dolls in the rear windows of their vehicles, as they can block visibility and lead to accidents, reports Beijing Evening News.

According to the paper, 11 cars with obstructed rear windows were stopped by traffic cops along Taisheng South Road in one hour, all of them driven by women.

Police official Li Zhixuan said the initiative grew out of an incident in which a woman backed her car into a stele at a parking lot because the rear window was filled with dolls, hindering her view.
