All three of the men suspected of breaking into an apartment and frightening a pregnant tenant so that she suffered a miscarriage are now in police custody, Shanghai Evening Post reports.

Wan and his nephew were arrested earlier, while Zhang has just been apprehended.

On the night of March 19, the men, all natives of Jiangsu Province, decided to rob the Wu family, with whom Wan was acquainted. They switched off the electricity first. When Wu's wife, who was several months pregnant, opened the door to go check the fuse box, Wan's nephew grabbed her and held a knife against her face. He then stuffed a napkin in her mouth and tied her up with rope.

Meanwhile, Wan and Zhang tackled Wu and handcuffed him. After stealing the couple's money, the three men escaped in a taxi.

Wu's wife was so frightened by the incident that she suffered a miscarriage.
