( 2003-10-24 10:57) (Agencies)

Alonzo Mourning had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 90-83 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in a preseason game Thursday night.

Kerry Kittles led the Nets with 17 points. Kenyon Martin scored 13 and Rodney Rogers added 12.

Glenn Robinson, who missed a 3-pointer with 1:11 remaining that would have given Philadelphia the lead, finished with 16 points. Marc Jackson had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Sixers.

Allen Iverson scored all 12 of his points in the first half as the Sixers moved out to a 39-34 lead at the break. Iverson was 0-for-6 from the field in the second half.

A 3-pointer by Kittles with 6:47 left in the third quarter gave the Nets their first lead at 47-46. He made another 3-pointer and a jumper four minutes later to help the Nets extend their lead to six points.

The Nets led by as many as nine in the fourth quarter before four of the 76ers' five starters re-entered the game with just over seven minutes left.

Robinson hit a 17-footer to tie the score at 71, then made two free throws to cap an 8-0 run and give the Sixers the lead. Rogers then hit back-to-back 3-pointers as the Nets regained the lead.

With the Sixers leading 82-81, Mourning hit a free throw and then scored on a dunk to put the Nets ahead to stay.
