the women's 200 meters butterfly in spite of her victory in the distance at the
5th Chinese City Games Thursday evening.
The 19-year-old Li Jie charged to win the 200m butterfly in two minutes 11.28
seconds, 0.08 seconds shy of the Olympic A standard. Zhang Tianyi, 13, was timed

Men's 200m breaststroke title was taken by Fan Luojun from Kunming in
2:16.70, which was his personal best. He also won the 100m breaststroke earlier
on Monday. Wu Dong came to second in 2"Huang Shaohua, 19, led all the way
through to victory in 50.92 to grab the men's 100m freestyle for Nanning. The
20-year-old Bao Jingtao followed at heel in 51.14 while Du Wentao brought
Nanjing a bronze in 51.74.
Shanghai Huangpu won the women's 4x200m freestyle relay in 8:03. 71. Hangzhou
finished second in 8:09.90, with the bronze taken away by Shenzhen at
8:19.86.
