10th China advertising gala opens ( 2003-10-23 23:58) (Xinhua)
The 10th China Advertisement Festival opened in Nanjing, capital of east
China's Jiangsu Province, Thursday with theme "Prediction, Interaction, Value
and integrity".
The gala, which lasts till Saturday, is expected to attract over 20,000
visitors. Over 200 companies will exhibit 3,516 advertisements at an exhibition
with a floor space of 22,500 square meters.
There will also be six special exhibitions on excellent works, advertising
media, equipment, outdoor advertising intermediates, international advertising
intermediates, and name brands.
The organizers will issue national prizes for outstanding advertisements.
The first national advertisement festival was held in 1986. This year, it is
the first time that businesses have replaced the government as sponsors of the
event.
