Beijing's Third Ring Road was momentarily monopolized by a kilometre-long queue of 39 wedding cars, all of them Safe sedans, on Saturday, reports Beijing Morning Post.

The bridegroom is a member of the Safe Sedan Club.

When he announced his wedding plans on the club's online forum last month, many of his "car pals" in the club volunteered to join the wedding procession.

According to the groom, about 1,800 people, all Safe brand car owners, belong to the club and often exchange their views over the Internet.

They also gather once a week for various activities and have become good friends.
