Man chooses death over divorce

A man who did not want to divorce his wife set off an explosion in the
courtroom before the case was to be heard on Wednesday.
The blast killed the man and injured four others, including his wife, a
lawyer and two judges, in Ya'an City in Southwest China's Sichuan Province,
reports Huaxi City Newspaper.
Luo Xiangcai repeatedly tried to persuade his wife to withdraw the divorce
suit, but she refused.
According to witness accounts, the despondent Luo wanted to die along with
his wife rather than be legally separated from her.
