Killing cousin sentenced to death

A man who murdered his own cousin in her apartment when she turned down his
request for a loan has been sentenced to death, reports Beijing Evening News.
Lian Xinzhong, a distant cousin of Guo, left his hometown to work in Beijing
as a security guard.
Lian borrowed 300 yuan (US$36) from Guo in 2001 but never paid her back. When
he asked her for some more money, Guo refused. The insulted Lian flew into a
rage and beat and stabbed Guo to death. Her body was eventually discovered in
her flat.
