Cyber love blinds embezzler

A 26-year-old Guangdong accountant who worked in the capital city has been
sentenced to six years' imprisonment for embezzling 450,000 yuan (US$54,370)
from her company, reports Beijing Evening News.
The love-struck woman gave all the money to her online boyfriend.
Liu Ying met the man of her dreams - "Hometown Xiao Tang" - in a chatroom
last September and instantly fell in love with him.
The handsome, silver-tongued Xiao Tang told Liu he was having trouble finding
a job and needed money to start his own business.
Thinking she was helping Xiao Tang raise money to come to Beijing to look for
work, Liu repeatedly stole money from her company over the course of a year
until her colleagues discovered what she was doing. Xiao Tang, meanwhile, simply
squandered the money on gambling and other women.
