National Museum home to national flags ( 2003-10-09 13:18) (China Daily) The China National Museum is
considering housing the national flag which fluttered in Tian'anmen Square on
October 1, reports Beijing Youth Daily.
"This national flag is of high value as a cultural relic," explained an
employee in the museum.
Dozens of national flags have been collected for their special historical
significance. Though they differ in size and occasion, they are all witnesses to
the development of the People's Republic of China.
After special disinfection treatment, the flags are stored in a room with
constant temperature and humidity.
