Five suspects who allegedly killed and robbed a currency dealer from Macao on September 10 were caught by Zhuhai police within three days, according to a report on the official website of People's Daily (www.people.com.cn).

The victim, identified as Lin, was stabbed in the chest near the Gongbei Border Checkpoint by two men. Some 650,000 yuan (US$78,530) in cash was taken from her. Lin later died in hospital.

Five suspects were captured, some in Zhuhai and others on a long-distance bus in Liuzhou in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, by September 13.

One has confessed to the crime as well as another robbery in Zhuhai on August 9. Two other suspects are still at large, said police.
