Sunday is World Alzheimer's Day and a large-scale consultancy will be held in Shanghai where medical experts will give lectures on how to prevent the disease and how to care for family members who suffer from the disease. China now has about 88.11 million people more than 65 years of age, and about 4.8 percent of them suffer from Alzheimer's disease. With the aging problem to intensify in China, the number of people suffering from Alzheimer's disease will inevitably increase and should arouse public attention.
