Sex between two Net acquaintances, who had known each other for less than a day, turned bloody when the woman stabbed the man. She has since been formally charged, reports New Express News.

The young man, identified as Wang, chatted up the 18-year-old woman via the Internet on August 25.

When Wang asked her views of one-night stands, she quickly agreed to a rendezvous, much to his surprise.

After they had sex in his dormitory room that night, the woman kept questioning Wang about whether he "often had fun with women this way".

But Wang did not answer her and fell asleep. He later woke to find the woman stabbing him with a fruit knife. He managed to struggle and called police.

The woman eventually explained that she had been very frustrated over a relationship with an abusive, drug-addicted boyfriend.
