Victim of robbery steals cellphone

The spouse of a robbery
victim surprised passers-by who helped him catch the thief by taking back not
only the stolen money but also the robber's own cellphone before releasing him,
reports Huashang Bao.
At about 6 am on Sunday, two taxis were seen chasing a man through the
streets of Xi'an.
When onlookers learned the man on the run was a robber, they surrounded him
and helped the cabbies catch him.
One of the drivers claimed to be the husband of a woman robbed by the man and
took back 300 yuan (US$36) stolen from her. Then, as he shoved the man to the
ground, a mobile phone fell from the robber's leather belt. The driver picked it
up and removed the rest of the money from the robber's pockets before leaving
the scene.
