1,375 square kilometers.
The farmer bought the business rights of the southwest section of the lake in
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for 20 years via public auction, and plans to
invest 200 million for the 600,000 mu (40,000 hectares) water area. He has
invited aquaculture experts from the country's agricultural ministry to consider
the details of his project; and he will soon work out his final plan.
He has great ambitions for the West China area. Wang said he is intending to
add more investment in the second stage of his development plan for the lake.
According to the plan, he will buy the operation rights of the 1.95 million mu

product breeding. With nearly 20 years' experience in the aquacultrural
industry, Wang is bullish about the Bosteng Lake, saying its high quality of
water and environment is good for water product breeding.
