Journalist-bashing gang all nabbed

Police have caught all eight
men involved in the attack on Huang Weijun, a photojournalist covering street
crime stories for New Express News.
One man has been released as the investigation found he had not participated
in the beating. He did not know the gang and had only hailed one of the
motorcyclists for a ride on Thursday evening, said police.
The remaining seven, all from Qingyang County in Henan Province, have
confessed to the attack.
One of the suspects, Li, admitted he worked in partnership with Liang and Ma
to rob pedestrians. They discovered Huang was following them on Thursday.
Summoning four friends who happened to be driving along the same road, they
decided to beat Huang to "teach him a lesson".
More than 30 Haizhu District police officers helped investigate the case,
reports New Express News.
