Yellow River embankment bursts in Inner Mongolia ( 2003-09-06 16:01) (Xinhua)
Local cadres and villagers are building
cofferdam around the embankment breach in Wulate Qianqi of Bayannur on
Saturday morning, Sept 6, 2003. The embankment of the Yellow River
suddenly broke around 8:30 p.m. Friday in Bayannur of the Inner Mongolia
Autonomous Region in north China. The accident caused no casualties by
