Mooncake boxes with liquor won't fly ( 2003-09-05 13:43) (China Daily)
Capital International Airport is reminding passengers not to take mooncake
boxes containing bottles of alcohol on flights, reports Beijing Youth Daily.
As the Mid-Autumn Festival draws near, many passengers are taking mooncakes
onboard with them as gifts for friends and family. At least four or five brands
of mooncake gift boxes contain bottles of liquor as well, said airport
authorities.
According to aviation security rules, passengers are forbidden from taking
any alcohol onto planes. Violators will have to either leave their mooncakes
behind or, if time permits, send them through luggage
consignment.
