Woman home scares ( 2003-09-04 13:57) (China Daily)
An elderly farmer who recently moved to Nanning to live with her married son decided to return to her home town on Monday after being scared by a "ghost", reports Nanguo Morning Post. The ghost turned out to be her own daughter-in-law undergoing a beauty treatment. Around midnight on Sunday, the daughter-in-law returned home from working the night shift at her job. After changing into a white silk robe, she began her usual cleansing ritual by applying a facial mask. Wang, the elderly woman, woke up and went looking for a drink of water. As she passed her son's bedroom, she was taken aback to see a "female ghost" with a green face sitting in the dimly lit room. Wang collapsed to the floor. In spite of her son and daughter-in-law's explanations and pleading, she packed up her bags the next morning, saying she was not used to urban life.
