A man was punched in the face after another man's wife mistook him for her husband and jumped on the back of his motorbike in Nanning, reports Nanguo Morning Post.

When A, whose wife was riding on the back of his bike, came to a traffic light, he let her off to avoid being stopped by police for riding double.

After they passed the junction, A felt someone jump on the seat behind him, so he depressed the pedal and sped away.

But he hadn't gone far when B, a man riding another bike, caught up to him and pulled him off his bike. Before A could ask what was wrong, the other man started punching him in the face. A fought back until A's wife finally appeared running towards them, at which point A realized the woman he had been carrying was not his wife, but B's.
