Fleeing taxi drags traffic policeman

A cabby who dragged a traffic policeman more than seven metres while trying
to flee in his taxi was later arrested, reports Shanghai Express.
At around 7:10 pm on August 20, Officer Wang of the public security bureau of
the Jing'an District stopped Chen at the crossroads of North Chengdu and West
Beijing roads for a traffic violation.
But as the light turned green, Chen tried to drive away. Wang was dragged
several metres by the escaping car, resulting in serious injuries to his face,
arms and feet. Chen was caught about two hours later. There have been eight
cases of attacks on or injuries to police in the line of duty over the past 10
days.
