Bee-sting 'remedy' all in the head ( 2003-08-27 14:57) (China Daily)
A man suffering from a headache eventually turned to a hospital for help -
not for the headache, but for the pain he endured from "bee-sting therapy,"
reports Everyday News.
Liu, 40, felt the headache coming on a few days ago. He saw a bee-keeper's
advert offering free sting therapy, so he decided to give it a try.
The bee-keeper picked up a bee and let it sting Liu's neck and temples three
times.
Although his headache disappeared in no time, it was replaced by more acute
pain from the stings, Liu recalled.
After his face swelled up and he was unable to contact the bee-keeper, he
headed to hospital.
