Nation's first themed cinema

Shanghai has plans to build a themed cinema complex in Pudong featuring
Egyptian elements, including replicas of ancient pharaohs' statues and murals.
It will be the first five-star themed cinema in China, reports Oriental
Morning Post.
The seven planned auditoriums spread over eight floors will be capable of
seating 1,166 film-goers.
Products commemorating blockbusters from Hollywood, including T-shirts and
toys, will also be sold at the complex, said the newspaper.
