'Beauty queen' genes sought for research

Hunan University hopes to collect DNA samples from 20 beautiful women for
research, reports Oriental News.
The genetic research team at the university's school of biology sent a fax to
the Hunan Entertainment Channel, offering to search for some common denominator
among the women's genetic make-up, which might provide answers about the nature
of beauty.
The television company showed interest and promised to consider the matter
carefully. If the university is serious about using the genetic data for
research, a spokesman for the entertainment channel said, they would like to
help.
