40 directors fail law enforcement exam ( 2003-08-05 14:10) (China Daily) Forty police station
directors have been suspended after receiving failing marks on a law enforcement
exam, reports China News Service.
Guangdong is conducting a law enforcement training course for some 2,400
police station directors across the province.
Of the 1,000 officers to complete the course so far, 40 have failed the exam.
They must repeat the course and pass the exam before they will be allowed to
resume their posts, said Liang Guoju, director of the Provincial Public Security
Bureau.
