Reception marks 30th anniversary of Sino-Malta ties

A reception was held in Beijing on Thursday by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Malta.

Vice-chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Tomur Dawamat, CPAFFC President of Chen Haosu, and Ambassador of Malta Saviour F. Borg attended the reception.

Chen said that the frequent visits between the leaders of the two nations have deepened the understanding between the two peoples, and the two countries have maintained good relations for three decades.

He said, by joint efforts, China and Malta have expanded communication and cooperation in trade, culture and education, and have made great achievements in these fields.
