China's Chief of PLA General Staff meets ROK Air Chief of Staff

Fu Quanyou, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met with Yi Ok Su, air chief of staff of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Beijing on Wednesday.

Fu, also a member of the Central Military Commission, said China and ROK, abiding by the principles of political mutual trust and economically mutual benefits, have achieved great progress in various fields.

In recent years, military ties between China and ROK have also been advanced, and China would like to further improve relations between the two countries and the two armed forces on the basis of peaceful co-existence and a policy of give and take.

Yi said the ROK government hopes to further strengthen communication and cooperation in various fields with China, especially in the military field.
