The Shanghai Career Guidance Centre for College Graduates will start offering diploma authentication services after the Ministry of Education's approval, reports Wenhui Daily.

The rampant counterfeiting of diplomas across the country is a big problem for employers in Shanghai too.

The centre is expected to be of great help to local companies, said an education official.
