Eastman Kodak signed an agreement on Saturday with Shanghai Seagull Camera Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai Light Industry Holding Group and China's oldest camera maker. Under the deal, Kodak is expected to contribute product design, technology and management expertise, while Seagull will assist in manufacturing and market development. Production will start soon at Kodak's equipment manufacturing plant in Pudong. Digital cameras under the Kodak brand will primarily cater to consumers in China.
